“Syncopate” – a musical expression meaning slightly off-the-beat

Creative extraordinaire, Valerie Gay, and I met in 1999 as colleagues at PNC Wealth Management in Philadelphia. In subsequent years, we collaborated on multiple business projects with an imaginative approach. These ranged from small client meetings to large-scale keynote presentations. In each of these, we found we could better connect with our audiences by integrating our musical and theatrical skills – and then began to coach our colleagues to do the same. In 2016, we joined together to form Syncopate Advisors, LLC with a commitment to transforming how professionals communicate.
